Starstruck

I'm Dave Greening, a pianist and composer, and Starstruck is my music turned into a game.

A pianist plays alone under a silent sky, and you are the spark his music sends up into the night. Every note becomes light to catch, every phrase becomes a star, and every song wakes a real constellation, from Orion and Pegasus to Draco and Taurus. Nothing is random: every note you catch comes straight from the piano.

CONTROLS

- Mouse or touch: move your light (on a phone, drag anywhere so your finger doesn't block your view)

- Click, Space or a second finger: Pulse, which clears nearby reds once your combo reaches x4

- Arrow keys / WASD or a gamepad also work

- P: pause

Your progress saves automatically in your browser. Headphones recommended.

A note on AI: All of the music in Starstruck is my own, composed and performed by me. I built the game with help from AI: the code was written with Claude (Anthropic), and the cover art was made with ChatGPT's image generator, then cropped and titled. The constellations, worlds and effects you see while playing are drawn live by the game's code.
